i'm sitting in the wolf studio as i write this, it's been a bit since i posted, and i told you so... didn't i?? either way, got most of the xmas shopping done, tree is up, and decorated purple. Damon is still back and forth as to his behavior, and we are still at a loss.
However, interesting news, a friend of mine who is attending film school out in Cali has returned for a visit, AANNDD another friend of mine from NYC is planning a horror film, and asked if I'd be interested in working with the team, so of course i said yes. I'm very excited about this as, my wonderful wifey is getting me a new pc for xmas that will handle all the programs i can throw at it, and all at once too, so I should have way less limitations for film. no word yet about the 2 shorts that got sent off, but i don't expect anything, so i guess no news is good news.
it's now the time of the year where i just wish it was next year. i love the holidays, don't get me wrong, but i'm just always so busy working, and more working that i don't get a chance to relax and enjoy them. could be some bigger things on the horizon for me on the work front... i hate to make my chosen career take a back seat, but, if nothings there, i hafta go where the money is. i hate money, everything about it, can't stand it. yea, lets just invent something we can covet that only amplifies our inherent greed, and the worst parts about us. good idea.
the day after xmas, i will drive up to pick up my other son, who lives with his mom in Ma., that i haven't seen in far too long, i'm excited, yet nervous. i talk with him on the phone, and i wonder if just hangin out with me will be what he wants. i loathe myself, so it's a skewed view, but i don't know. where would i be without my rock?
